HOW TO CHANGE THE FONT THAT'S NOT IN SUPPORT ICS (ICS TEST ON MY XPLAY 4.0.4)

A. Prepare the font which you prefer. (If you want a full unicode support can be downloaded at www.ihint.net

2. Double the font is a font 4, then Rename to: Roboto- Regular.ttf, Roboto-Bold.ttf, Roboto- Italic, Roboto-BoldItalic. ttf

3. Download and install Font Creator v6.5 full version in http://upfile.mobi/2007 password: ibenkmsv

4. Open fonts with Font Creator

5. Edit fonts one by one before, select Format - Settings - select the tab Classification

- Classification menu for Regular and Italic font type in the Weight select Normal (Regular), whereas for the type font Bold / BoldItalic select Bold in the Width select Medium (Normal) for all types of font

- Font menu Family on the Class select Sans Serif Subclass section select (High-x Round Geometric) (optional)

- Design Font menu to check the type of font Regular Regular, Bold for Bold, Italic for Italic, Bold and Italic to BoldItalic

- click OK

6. Choose Format - Naming

edit this section:

- Font Family Name = Roboto

- Font Name = Regular subfamily for this type of Regular, Bold for Bold, Italic for Italic, Bold Italic for BoldItalic

- Full Font Name = Roboto eg font subfamily for this type of Bold: Bold Roboto 

- Postscript Name = Roboto- Regular (for Regular), Roboto-Bold (for Bold), Roboto-Italic (for Italic), Roboto-BoldItalic (for Bold Italic) 

- click OK - Save 

Part II - Installing with Root Explorer section 

after completed then we will have four fonts, namely: 

Roboto-Bold.ttf

Roboto - Regular.ttf

Roboto - Italic.ttf

Roboto -BoldItalic.ttf 

Copy 4 pieces had to sdcard Using Root Explorer 

1. Move to the / system (do not forget to mount: R / O) set the permissions of all the fonts rw-r - r -

2. Move to mention all the fonts to / system / fonts (if there are warnings apply to all only select) 

3. In the font-Roboto Regular.ttf Do this: 

a. touch and hold to exit the menu select the link to this file 

b. change directories to / System select Create link 

- then there will be a file named Roboto-Regular - Link.ttf 

c. rename Roboto-Regular - Link.ttf to DroidSans.ttf 

d. on font Roboto-Bold doing point 3.a and 3.b, then there will be file- Roboto - Bold- Link.ttf rename to-DroidSans Bold.ttf

4. Move which was to rename / system / fonts, if there are any warnings just apply to all

5. Reboot

Please be careful and backup data first before melakuan this tutorial. User can build an android error Bootlop. Do It With Your Own Risk.
